Cravings.

Image
You know when you get those random cravings for choclate chip cookies, greasy Lay's potato chips, rush of being drunk, dancing the night away, or even the taste of crunchy cucumbers. Those cravings you get and know you won't be satisfied until, you get what you have been longing for. That feeling that nothing is enough until you have it! I remember 2 years ago when I would sit in class in think to myself how I couldn't wait to get out of this class and get me some cheese pizza. It wasn't me craving the cheese pizza, it was me craving what went along with it everyday, a cold tall glass of wine. Mmmmmh. That craving of sitting on my front porch, being intoxicated while cramming a huge slice of cheese pizza in my mouth.  That's what I craved the most. I remember being completely intoxicated by 12:30 in the afternoon. I danced in the wrong playground, let me tell you, not the best decision. So what happens when you finally satisfy your cravings? Does that mean y...

Self Help.

A couple of days ago, I had my blog page up, ready to type a new post on something to do with nothing really.... I knew it wasn't going to be inspirational, motivational, or realistic; instead it would be me saying words that sound good. No! That's not why I have the difference maker! That's not why I created this blog. So after conguering all of my trials that I have been tugging and lugging around, so I can finally blog from the heart.  I titled this post Self Help . People have the tendency to think that they know what's best or how to fix things the best way they see fit. Yeah, no! No matter what you do or what sins you face. No one, no one who walks among us on this Earth can fix it, but God can! Let me say that again, BUT GOD can! God holds the key to the treasure box, he is almighty wise man, he can do all things because he is ruler of all things! You know those questions people try to ask you, those questions like "what happened?" "Why ar...

Omnipresent everlasting love of our mysterous God.

Image
He is everywhere! Soul is surely resting in him. Being over 1,600 miles away from Raleigh, I was still swept away by the beauty of God. He is everywhere. I just wanted share some of the wondrous beauty that God has created. "Thank God with all your heart, and tell everyone how kind God has been to you." Even through my sins, he sees my love for him and he surely reminded me of his love this weekend. What a beautiful God he is.  1 Samuel 16:7 | "... but the Lord looks at the heart." Remember that God loves even when you are covered in sin, look to God and he will tell you that he loves you. He always have and always will. How he loves us!

Passing the test Part TWO!!!

Image
So I realized humans like pictures..... so here are a few:       In all of these pictures I am doing exactly what we need to do to pass the test of following and trusting in Christ! I am Beholding the GLORY! Now it doesn't mean take an artsy picture and call that faithfulness, it means manifesting in the glory, saturating in it. All things are created for God and by God. And what we need to do as followers is bare witness to his Glory and through this you will see his magnificent and how it truly out pours on your life.  I said it in Part 1, we must turn away from those things that we seem to think are better than Jesus. Now that isn't simple. I know it's taken me such a long time to turn away from those things that I thought can be more fullfilling than Jesus, but with every test you take comes a lesson. When we sin, we think "that was wrong, and I shouldn't have done that." In reality, we are still sinning because we are still ...

Passing the test Part 1

I figured this is an important post for others, as well as, for myself because we are constantly trying to make a passing grade in life in everything we do. For me I know with taking 6 classes I want to make an A all of my classes which can be a challenge, but I know if I give it a hundred percent and try my absolute hardest. I can at least make a B . I'm not saying that I cannot achieve the A in each one of my classes but I am saying that I will give it my all. We don't just take a test in class, also take a test with everything we do in life. We are always looking for the passing grade. We want to be the most recognized person in a our work place, but we always seem to fall short and receive a B when we are attempting to make an A, or when we want to be the most popular person in our friend group, or wanting to make the most money in our workplace. WE WILL NEVER MAKE THE PASSING GRADE. Instead we are failing because we are making all these things more important the one te...
