Self Help.

A couple of days ago, I had my blog page up, ready to type a new post on something to do with nothing really.... I knew it wasn't going to be inspirational, motivational, or realistic; instead it would be me saying words that sound good. No! That's not why I have the difference maker! That's not why I created this blog.

So after conguering all of my trials that I have been tugging and lugging around, so I can finally blog from the heart.

I titled this post Self Help. People have the tendency to think that they know what's best or how to fix things the best way they see fit. Yeah, no! No matter what you do or what sins you face. No one, no one who walks among us on this Earth can fix it, but God can!

Let me say that again, BUT GOD can! God holds the key to the treasure box, he is almighty wise man, he can do all things because he is ruler of all things! You know those questions people try to ask you, those questions like "what happened?" "Why are you upset?" "Will you be okay?" Majority of the time you don't ever want to answer them because you don't care to talk about it to anyone (including God). Now don't get me wrong, we can ask others to hear our time of trouble, but we should be asking those whose hearts are locked on Christ to hear our cries because they can  do something incredible, they can PRAY for you!! However, have you ever thought about it..like really thought about it. Why don't you turn to him when you are troubled?!!! Instead of turning to those who can only give you false advice, what are they doing for you, besides digging you deeper into your own personal struggle.

He says it in his word!!!

Psalm 50:15 | "...call upon me in the day of trouble."

Why are we skimming right pass the wisest man, the dad with the best advice! Believe me, I am victim to this as well. I turn to myself instead of listening to the word of the Lord. Ya know it's because he isn't standing in my face asking me what's wrong. What I fail to realize is that he is with me, waiting for me to say "Lord I need you, for I am troubled!"

God you are glorious, you are the ruler of the land and sea, you created all things in your likeness, yet we fail to see this. We fail to realize you are with us in the time of trouble and hard ache. We turn to ourselves, instead of turning towards you, Oh Lord. Because we let the sin rule over our mind rather then acknowledging the spirit of Christ that is with us. Today, let me say it for all who fail to acknowledge you, God we need you. Help us to turn to you first God. Thank you for loving us the way you did, for giving up your one and only son's life so that we may receive your spirit within us. God you are so good to us and we thank you for your salvation and loving us even in our times of struggle.
