Dream of Him.

Have you ever dreamed of a crush or someone that you really liked, or maybe even loved? Usually when we have those kinds of dreams, we wake up thinking about that person. I remember this one time, I had a dreamed that I fell in love with my crush. (This was a long time ago talking 6th grade long time) I can remember waking up from that dream and thinking today is the day that I am going to talk to him. A dream like that put my spirits high, and I felt invincible! Well I never got to tell my crush that I was in love with him, and we never got to be together. Dreams can be created in our mind, but can cause a positive outcome when wake from them. A couple nights ago, I had a dream which I don't remember, however; I do remember waking up to thinking about God. He happened to be the first thing on my mind, it was like he was my crush from 6th grade. I was smiley and giggle that morning; I was filled with the grace of God. I was made whole. Such an amazing feeling to wake up and  ...

Playdough.

When I was a kid, and my mother would buy me with playdough. My world would light up, I would take the playdough roll it into a ball, a snake, and sometimes a pan. My mom saw playdough as being safer than sand when I was little. I remember taking my little, bright yellow container full of playdough everywhere with me, so that at any time I can whip it out and let my imagination take control. The beauty about playdough is that with a huge imagination, you can create playdough to be anything you want it to be. However, the biggest disappointment with playdough is that if you leave it out to long, then it begins to dry it out. I don't see this as a positive note because I would get so upset when my playdough colors mixed, who wants to have yellow and green playdough combined, and when you attempted to separate the conjoining colors it seemed nearly impossible. Sometimes in life we are placed in situations like playdough where we think we can fix things for the best. If two colors...

Opportunity Knocking!

So it's been a while... I take all of the blame for that! However, I have been busy acknowledging my Savior with everyone around me! Also I have been reading this great book (I will not say the name of the book), and there was a quote in the book that really got my brain gears going. "I used to think God guided us by opening and closing doors, but now I know sometimes God wants us to kick some doors down." Let's just take a minute and think about this..... The word 'No' a powerful and simple word that can close many doors. Doors that we sometimes think are really opportunities. So we walk away from these opportunities instead of facing them head on. Have you every wondered about a door that has been closed on you, it sits on your heart. Maybe it's God telling you to go back at it again, Go kick down that door. A simple post with an even bigger message, don't let circumstances and situations in life become closed doors all the time. If you tru...

A Hopeless situation.

How do you praise him when you are going through the tough times? It's easy to praise him when things are good... How do you do it when it's hard? Today is one of those days, when I am having a tough time.   God can turn a   A mess -  a message A Test  - a testimony  A victim - a victory His Power is made perfect in weakness. Lord, today I stand weak with a wall that seems to be getting thicker and not thinner. I refuse to doubt you because through my struggle and tough situation I know that this isn't the end. Lord, I know where I put this period on my life you put a comma. In my eyes life seems like a mess, but to you it's a message. I am a victim, but you will give me victory; I thank you for that. I thank you for waking me up this morning, for the place a call work, thank you for the family and friends that I have. Today, I am weak, but I will wait on you to make me strong.  In your name, Amen

A message from God.

Random person. Random message. Someone messages me and randomly says : Romans 1:11 | " For I long to see you, so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you."    It's funny how that is the verse given to me by a random stranger, like God was assuring me, through someone else. So you can understand let's back track; a couple of days ago, I prayed to God and in my prayer I said "Lord, I want to know you more and I want to see you." Not to long ago I was dealing with a lot questions and conversations with God, so to pray to see him makes lot of sense. When you are dealing with a lot and you feel like the world is crashing down, don't you wish that God can just come, wrap his arms around you, and say everything will be okay my child? That's what I wanted, needed and craved so much.  However, I realize God uses others to do the work that he needs to be done. To answer the prayers that are sent to him. It's extremely ironic...

Test of obedience.

So in life we test things: We test to see if people are lying. We test our dogs to see if they will listen. We test ourselves in general. So who tests us? God test our obedience to him. When we hear the word Obey, we some time put negative connotations with the word. However, that is not what God expresses in his word. First, lets examine the word obey, to comply with or follow the commands, restrictions, wishes, or instructions of (dictionary.com). When I was looking up obey the first thing that jumped out to me was the synonym for the word: submission.      This is such a great meaning and understanding of the word, submission. Submitting ourselves to the Lord even when we do not understand what he is doing.    John 14:15 | " If you love me, you will obey what I command."  I wish I could of read this verse before this past weekend because I didn't understand anything that he was doing with me. Today, I realize it's not if I under...

How does God talk to me?

I usually get on my blog, find words that God puts on my heart and share them with anyone who reads. However, I have been struggling with what is on my heart. This time I am writing as a seeker,  seeking answers from God. Yesterday played out in a funny way, I get an email from this blog subscription I follow on youtube, and it is titled "How do I talk to God? How does God talk to me?" I find this to be extremely ironic because... I had one many conversations with God yesterday. Some were asking for guidance, thanking him for the new day, asking for favor of the coming week, but others were of anger and disappointment. How does that all happen in one day? How can I become so mad and angry at him? I know I shouldn't but I did. I find this all extremely ironic, like he was preparing me for a test today because in the morning I did come a cross a bible verse today that stood out and I probably read more than five times. James 4:7 | "So submit to God. But resist...
