Opportunity Knocking!

So it's been a while... I take all of the blame for that! However, I have been busy acknowledging my Savior with everyone around me!
Also I have been reading this great book (I will not say the name of the book), and there was a quote in the book that really got my brain gears going.


"I used to think God guided us by opening and closing doors, but now I know sometimes God wants us to kick some doors down."

Let's just take a minute and think about this..... The word 'No' a powerful and simple word that can close many doors. Doors that we sometimes think are really opportunities. So we walk away from these opportunities instead of facing them head on.

Have you every wondered about a door that has been closed on you, it sits on your heart. Maybe it's God telling you to go back at it again, Go kick down that door.


A simple post with an even bigger message, don't let circumstances and situations in life become closed doors all the time. If you truly desire something that God has put on your heart, you must keep saying YES to those who said NO.

Life moves fast sometimes, to fast. Sometimes we get to wrapped up in the fast life and we forget the little things. I know I can admit, I become easily distracted by the little things. That little thing can distract me, and can become a big distraction, and that big distraction can cause me to stray away from what I know is best or right. Jesus, Take the Wheel!!!!!!!

You know that saying people would say "Jesus take the wheel," have you ever thought about what that means. Well I figured I could provide a good example:  Now that you got a good laugh, lets really talk. I remember growing in people would say that saying and I never really understood what it meant. So now that I am older, I use to say "Jesus, take the wheel" I remember saying it when I was stressed out or when a friend of mines was acting inappropriately. When we think of such a saying, we want God to have control because we lack all control. But shouldn't God always be driving the car in your life? And what does that look like when you truly let Jesus drive? For me that means I need to surrender. I am still allowing myself to put other things in God's place. Simple Things.

I got this Awesome coffee mug yesterday, and I am absolutely obsessed with it. First, it says You are an Amazing Woman . Second, the rim of the mug is Proverbs 31: 29 | " Many Women have done excellently, but you surpass them all." This is such a inspirational mug not because of who said, simply because it's a word of God. Words of confirmation and positivity, ladies if this doesn't lift your spirits in the morning, then I don't know what will. Let's thank God for the simple things like waking up, and getting an awesome mug. God you are an amazing father, you never fail in love for me. And I thank you for that.
