Game Over

Up. Down. Jump. Duck. Dodge.

You know all those game systems that have all those buttons that can make a game do cool stuff like jump up or duck and tuck in roll! I remember being about 15 or 16 and. My big brother having that game "call of duty" playing that game. What a rush. Wanting to beat my brothers and have the best kill streak, over time the more I played the better I could memorize the buttons, the better I got, the higher my kill streak went. 

I would go and show off how cool I was at it. I wish everyday can be like that. The way God can show off and be an amazing gamer and allow him to control over my life, telling me when to turn towards him, jump for worship and praise, dodge the evil that comes against me, and crawl on my knees for his mercy. What kinda of video game is that. 

The type of game, where it shows that Jesus is in control over your life. 

Proverbs 19:21 | " Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand." 

Let me become the video game and let God be the ultimate gamer. I want this today, tomorrow, and forever. Thankful that the Lord can show us the dead ends and hit the game over buttons.

Proverbs 16:9 | "The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps."


Thanks Jesus for being the perfect gamer, for guiding the ways and being there for every leap of faith, every knee that falls to pray and worship you. Thanks for putting up game over signs and allowing us to focus on your guidance for the steps that you want for our lives and not the ones of our minds.

Life moves fast sometimes, to fast. Sometimes we get to wrapped up in the fast life and we forget the little things. I know I can admit, I become easily distracted by the little things. Jesus, Take the Wheel!!!!!!!

You know that saying people would say "Jesus take the wheel," have you ever thought about what that means. Well I figured I could provide a good example:  Now that you got a good laugh, lets really talk. I remember growing in people would say that saying and I never really understood what it meant. So now that I am older, I use to say "Jesus, take the wheel" I remember saying it when I was stressed out or when a friend of mines was acting inappropriately. When we think of such a saying, we want God to have control because we lack all control. But shouldn't God always be driving the car in your life? And what does that look like when you truly let Jesus drive? For me that means I need to surrender. I am still allowing myself to put other things in God's place. I got this Awesome coffee mug yesterday, and I am absolutely obsessed with it. First, it says You are an Amazing Woman . Second, the rim of the mug is Proverbs 31: 29 | " Many Women have done excellently, but you surpass them all." This is such a inspirational mug not because of who said, simply because it's a word of God. Words of confirmation and positivity, ladies if this doesn't lift your spirits in the morning, then I don't know what will. Let's thank God for the simple things like waking up, and getting an awesome mug. God you are an amazing father, you never fail in love for me. And I thank you for that.
