Red Light, Green Light, 1-2-3

You know those games you played when you are little. I do! I do! I remember being aroud six or seven years old, at the end of the day before it was time to go home. My class would go outside and play Red Light, Green Light and Mother May I; How I loved going outside, one reason being I was always going to be the line leader because of my staggering height and two reason being that I was extremely competitive and I always wanted to win.

When we played these games, especially, Red Light, Green Light I would move so fast on a Green Light and freeze as quick as a flash on red light because I didn't want to ever lose. It was always standing in so quirky pose as the other classmate would scan the playing field for any sudden movements. UGHHH that was the hardest part of the game, yet the most rewarding part when they cannot send to restart because you held your pose so well.

What if we played Red Light, Green light in our lives? How cool would it be to constantly be moving, moving, moving and as quick as possible we pause. We freeze whatever we are doing and pose. How cool would it be if we played this game, instead of constantly being on green, we went to red light more often. In while we pose, raising our hands up high in worship. In thankfulness as we pose looking up to our savior. Every time we strike a new pose, we look up to the Father with amazement and we whisper how great is your glory who lives in heaven. How cool would that be?
How amazing would that be if we did this everyday, at a moments notice you put life on pause and you look up at Jesus and you say, you did it all God. How awesome are you that created the stars in the sky. What if we did this with the people in our lives, instead of going green light and doing our laundry list of all the things that we must get done, what if we stopped and looked at the person to the right or left of you and said "Thank you for all you do for me." How would they feel? How good will your soul feel after that.

Today that's what I am doing, instead of jamming my head in a text book and preparing for a test. I simply want to thank God. I just want to thank him because instead of letting me focus on the "To-do's" of my day, he said focus on me. Being placed in a situation today that was unpredictable, but not unsettling I was able to be rewarded because I got say, "Thank you Jesus for you unending grace and mercy." Thank you Jesus for always be in the midst, I got to cry out to God today and forget about the worries of the day. How sweet!

1 Thessalonians 5:16-19 "  Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not put out the Spirit's fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt"

Thank God for mothers, who are given spiritual gifts, they are one of the sweetest of God's blessings. Every circumstance that we face today, let us glorify your name. God, if you put our lives on hold today, it is because you are seeking us. Joy is something that you give out to us, allow us to be glad in. Allow us to cry because of your goodness and praise you for your unending love. We want to play a game of Red Light, Green Light with you God, and always make you the leader of the game.
