God Be Praised.



Happy Sunday y'all !

So I've gained a new perspective. Worship music. 

After I had a Jam session to all my favorite worship music, I realized I wanted to share this with my blog.

I have so many songs that inspire, uplift, and make me smile. I find it crazy that all these songs talk about one incredible man. Our God. My God. 


It's crazy when you think about it, so many people makes music about this amazing, almighty, all loving, awesome God we have. However, people would rather listen to club music, but don't get me wrong I love a good club song. Drunk in Love, whatever it may be, but no song has the effect like a song about my savior Jesus Christ.

And today I just want to share some of my favorite uplifting songs with you all !

1. Oceans (where my feet may fail) by Hillsong

I can't say how blessed it is to have music that gives glory to God. Honestly, I can say that worship music has helped me. It reminds me that he is always there, and when I give myself to him he will save me.

Psalm 18:3 | " I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise,
                       and I was delivered from my enemies. "

 Our God deserves the highest glory and the up most praise !

Life moves fast sometimes, to fast. Sometimes we get to wrapped up in the fast life and we forget the little things. I know I can admit, I become easily distracted by the little things. That little thing can distract me, and can become a big distraction, and that big distraction can cause me to stray away from what I know is best or right. Jesus, Take the Wheel!!!!!!!

You know that saying people would say "Jesus take the wheel," have you ever thought about what that means. Well I figured I could provide a good example:  Now that you got a good laugh, lets really talk. I remember growing in people would say that saying and I never really understood what it meant. So now that I am older, I use to say "Jesus, take the wheel" I remember saying it when I was stressed out or when a friend of mines was acting inappropriately. When we think of such a saying, we want God to have control because we lack all control. But shouldn't God always be driving the car in your life? And what does that look like when you truly let Jesus drive? For me that means I need to surrender. I am still allowing myself to put other things in God's place. Simple Things.

I got this Awesome coffee mug yesterday, and I am absolutely obsessed with it. First, it says You are an Amazing Woman . Second, the rim of the mug is Proverbs 31: 29 | " Many Women have done excellently, but you surpass them all." This is such a inspirational mug not because of who said, simply because it's a word of God. Words of confirmation and positivity, ladies if this doesn't lift your spirits in the morning, then I don't know what will. Let's thank God for the simple things like waking up, and getting an awesome mug. God you are an amazing father, you never fail in love for me. And I thank you for that. Thank you for whipping away my sins, for sending your one and only son to die on the cross for me. What an awesome God you are, and you deserve nothing less than the highest praise!
