Prayer? Glory? Praise?
PRAYER...
When people come together to pray they make it a time when they long or need the comfort of Jesus the most. When you are at your weakest, you look to God and ask him for his love and mercy. However, when you are at your highest, who are you thanking? Some people say I worked so hard for this, or I earned this. These are questions that I fumbled with in my life. I was always praying to God in my time of struggle or when I needed "faith" the most. In reality I used to only call on the Lord when I felt weak because I knew that he would always be there. However, I never thought about him when I received the benefits of life or when I achieved something awesome. Simply because I didn't accept him as my father and I chose to "kinda" follow him.
Today... I am weak and humble to the Lord because with God I am made whole. I am overly annotied with the love of Christ. My heart welts with emotion for him! I make him my first, middle, and last. So when I pray it's not because I am weak or distressed, it's because I seek him always and I thank him constantly. God loves me more than my own understanding. I thank him for allowing me to step up at work and be recognized, thank him for allowing me to go to the college of my dream, I thank him for saving ME.

GLORY...
Something blew my mind today. Now I rarely go on Twitter, but when I did today I got some retweets to a Beyonce reference yet when I talked about Jesus no one would retweet that? Not because I want people to retweet it to confirm my standing in social acceptance or a popularity contest, instead I wanted to see who was interested in the word of God. The Bible says to constantly seek him with all of our hearts, and we will find him. Deuteronomy 4:29
So this is the point I want to know God and I want to serve him with all of me, even if it means retweeting a tweet on Twitter. We as follows of Christ must make him famous in our city. So I say this to you, if you want to refer to God as a twitter profile, then he should constantly be gaining new followers each and everyday. He should get never ending tweets on twitter because his word is greater than ALL!
PRAISE...
Just want to Praise God for creating an awesome woman like Melissa because I get to call her mother. She is more than a mother she is a hero, a motivational coach, a support team, a therapist and now I get to watch her become a woman of Christ.
I not only get to share the most unbreakable undescrible bond with this woman. At first I looked at it as a curse, but it turns out God wanted it to be a blessing. I got fall to my knees to know and love you. The person who fell to their knees with me was this woman right here, my mother.
Praise God of all the things that might be a storm in our life because they turn out be a path way that you clear to our blessings and I thank you for that.
To sum it all up, God gave the ultimate sacrifice of letting his one and only son die on the cross so that we can be saved! So why wouldn't you thank the man who did that for you? I would. You should, we must remember to become selfless and humble to Jesus because he was the ultimate sacrifice so we can live. Don't take that for granted. Thank him and seek him constantly.
