Just wait one sec...

I remember when I was little, my mom would buy me a sweet snack from the grocery store, and I remember she would say, "you have to wait until we get home to have one." Waiting when I was a kid seemed like three months and two days plus 47 seconds.

By the time it took me to "wait until I got home," I was already tearing the wrapper off of the sweetest snack ever! My mom would turn and say that I was suppose to wait until I got home. Who could wait though?! So why does this happen, why must we have to wait for things?

What is patience?

Patience|
noun; the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.
 
Read that definition and think of what stands out to you and how it correlates with your life... Yeah for me the whole thing relates to me. "The capacity to accept or tolerate delay," I had to learn that stuff in life doesn't happen overnight, falling in love with God didn't happen one day. I had to learn to love him daily and to pray for blessings in life because God doesn't work on my time, I work on his time. "Suffering without getting angry or upset," let me explain something... I blamed God for allowing me to suffer, for the nightmares, for life events that were out of my control, however; I've come to realize that I live because of him. He has given me another chance at life to love him firs, and to never make him a forethought. It's taken patience and prayer. Acceptance. 
 
 
The Bible sometimes is a mind reader, couldn't have said it better myself.
 
Romans 12:12| "Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer."

Life moves fast sometimes, to fast. Sometimes we get to wrapped up in the fast life and we forget the little things. I know I can admit, I become easily distracted by the little things. Jesus, Take the Wheel!!!!!!!

You know that saying people would say "Jesus take the wheel," have you ever thought about what that means. Well I figured I could provide a good example:  Now that you got a good laugh, lets really talk. I remember growing in people would say that saying and I never really understood what it meant. So now that I am older, I use to say "Jesus, take the wheel" I remember saying it when I was stressed out or when a friend of mines was acting inappropriately. When we think of such a saying, we want God to have control because we lack all control. But shouldn't God always be driving the car in your life? And what does that look like when you truly let Jesus drive? For me that means I need to surrender. I am still allowing myself to put other things in God's place. Simple Things.

I got this Awesome coffee mug yesterday, and I am absolutely obsessed with it. First, it says You are an Amazing Woman . Second, the rim of the mug is Proverbs 31: 29 | " Many Women have done excellently, but you surpass them all." This is such a inspirational mug not because of who said, simply because it's a word of God. Words of confirmation and positivity, ladies if this doesn't lift your spirits in the morning, then I don't know what will. Let's thank God for the simple things like waking up, and getting an awesome mug. God you are an amazing father, you never fail in love for me. And I thank you for that.
