Realization.


I probably wrote four or five different blog drafts, but I could never find the right words to point out what state I am in and how God is effecting me right now.
Today is the day where I feel like I am left alone in the middle of the ocean, stranded to face the world alone. In this ocean, stranded with no sense of direction. One song seem to play in my head. A song that keeps me from sinking to the bottom into a deep dark abyss. The song are a words of encouragement and hope.

Oceans (where my feet may fail):
In oceans deep
My faith will stand
And I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine
Your grace abounds in deepest waters Your sovereign hand
Will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You've never failed and You won't start now

 Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior 

 

Now I think this song ultimately gives me hope, faith, and uplifting; especially, when I am in a hurt and lost place. Like in the middle of the ocean. 

God will be my uplift, he will pull me out of a place of loneliness and confusion. Stranded in the waves of the ocean, God will push the waves and help me raise above it. 

Psalm 46:13 | "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,  though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. "


I failed you yesterday as I did the day before Lord, but today I will make a stand. Today I will be made over I will trust you, walk with you, and put all my faith in you. You are unfailing God. I will take refugee in you and receive your salvation.

Confess today,  reach out your hand and give yourself over to God, so we can walk together in his glory.

Life moves fast sometimes, to fast. Sometimes we get to wrapped up in the fast life and we forget the little things. I know I can admit, I become easily distracted by the little things. That little thing can distract me, and can become a big distraction, and that big distraction can cause me to stray away from what I know is best or right. Jesus, Take the Wheel!!!!!!!

You know that saying people would say "Jesus take the wheel," have you ever thought about what that means. Well I figured I could provide a good example:  Now that you got a good laugh, lets really talk. I remember growing in people would say that saying and I never really understood what it meant. So now that I am older, I use to say "Jesus, take the wheel" I remember saying it when I was stressed out or when a friend of mines was acting inappropriately. When we think of such a saying, we want God to have control because we lack all control. But shouldn't God always be driving the car in your life? And what does that look like when you truly let Jesus drive? For me that means I need to surrender. I am still allowing myself to put other things in God's place. Simple Things.

I got this Awesome coffee mug yesterday, and I am absolutely obsessed with it. First, it says You are an Amazing Woman . Second, the rim of the mug is Proverbs 31: 29 | " Many Women have done excellently, but you surpass them all." This is such a inspirational mug not because of who said, simply because it's a word of God. Words of confirmation and positivity, ladies if this doesn't lift your spirits in the morning, then I don't know what will. Let's thank God for the simple things like waking up, and getting an awesome mug. God you are an amazing father, you never fail in love for me. And I thank you for that.
