Walk Blindfolded
My day was AWESOME today... let me show you how awesome it was!
The UNC helicopter came to work today which I got to capture that moment with a great friend, and after a long day I got to hammock!
Pretty good day, no complaints, however; that all changes when I get a very upsetting letter from school. I was confused, then upset, and lastly I was frustrated. Not gonna lie, I was pretty upset that I shed a couple of tears. How can one thing push you over the edge make you so upset that you cry. Has that ever happen to you? Especially, when that something is out of your control, like if I can go catch that baseball before it slaps you in face, then I would. Guess what? Life doesn't work that way. It doesn't happen the way we want it to work. It works the way God intends for it to.
Like the story in Genesis, when God tells Noah to build an ark because he sees the world in ruins and he floods the world. That was out of everyone's control, but it was in God's hands. Or the fact that Paul the apostle was blind. It was because of God, so that he can truly see the work of God, and tell those who lack the ears and eyes to see it for themselves.
We need to look at times of uncontrollable situations like we are blindfolded and someone else is leading us. That someone is God. We must trust that no matter if its getting around a huge boulder or walking 50 feet, God has the best plan for your life, we must trust him. He will guide you
Instead of getting overwhelmed and being effected by the trials that I face. I turn towards God.
Psalms 37:23-24 | "The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand."
I am a child of the living Christ, who I chose to follow and give my life completely too. He has the greatest love of all and my life is in his hand. Let him take control of the situations that you can't handle.
